The Library will bring its mobile programming van, LVA On the Go, to the Pamunkey Regional Library System’s Mechanicsville Branch, 7461 Sherwood Crossing Place, Mechanicsville, Virginia, on Saturday, June 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Library will present a free talk by historian Jody Lynn Allen on her new book, “Roses in December: Black Life in Hanover County from Civil War to Civil Rights,” on Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 12 to 1 p.m.

The Library has been notified by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) that three federal grants have been terminated, effective April 3, 2025.
